MBA Inauguration Ceremony
On October 11, 2020, Lingnan (University) College of Sun Yat-sen University and Carlson
School of Management of the University of Minnesota in the United States cooperated with
the opening ceremony of the Sino-US EMBA Program CHEMBA 2020 at the MBA Center of
Lingnan (University) College, Sun Yat-Sen University. AmCham president Harley Seyedin delivered
congratulation speech to CHEMBA. Professor Lu Jun, Dean of Lingnan (University) College, Sun
Yat-sen University, Party Secretary Chen Xianfeng, Assistant Dean Wu Jintao, Professor Lin Jiang,
Academic Director of CHEMBA of Lingnan (University) College, Sun Yat-Sen University and 2020
CHEMBA freshmen attended the ceremony.
Guangzhou Development District Informal Talk
with Multinational Enterprises
Huangpu government held an informal talk with multinational enterprises to promote
investment in GDD and they cordially invited AmCham president Harley Seyedin to deliver a
speech. Leaders of the GZ Bureau of Commerce and Provincial Department of Commerce attended
and deliver keynote speech. General Manager of Jianzhi, Liu Ye made a preliminary report on the
Guangzhou Development District Association of Foreign Investment Enterprises. Zeiss Group
President Peng Wei, 3M General Manager Wang Junkai and China Construction Bank Deputy
General Manager Zeng Ziqian shared in-depth presentation of China’s economy.
