On February 27, the 2023 Global Cross-
border E-commerce Seller Service
Conference was successfully held in
Guangzhou. On behalf of AmCham South
China, President Harley Seyedin and
attended the conference and delivered
a speech. During the speech, he said:”
Guangzhou has been consistently ranked
as the number one investment destination
in China for the past eight years in the
Chamber's annual study. Guangzhou,
driven by the country's construction of the
Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater
Bay Area, can create a first-class business
environment with global competitiveness.”
The 133rd Canton Fair Promotion Meeting was
successfully held in Guangzhou on February 28.
The 133rd Canton Fair to be synchronized online and
offline opening on April 15, which is the full restart of the
Canton Fair three years after the epidemic. More than
220 people, including consuls general and officials of
foreign countries in Guangzhou, heads of industrial and
commercial organizations in China and representatives
of domestic and foreign enterprises, were invited to
attend the promotion meeting. Dr. Harley Seyedin,
president of AmCham South China, was invited to the
ceremony and made remarks in the opening. Dr. Seyedin
said: “Canton Fair serves as an important channel for
China's foreign trade and an important window for
opening to the outside world. All these impressive
achievements are attributed to the government which
has been dedicated to providing the best services for
enterprises and creating an enabling environment for
innovation, entrepreneurship and trade. AmCham South
China will work for a stronger connection with Canton
Fair Committee and spare no effort to contribute to the
high-quality development.”
