Zoom Meeting

The Canton Fair Briefing Zoom Meeting
of the 131st Canton Fair was hosted
in Guangzhou on April 11, which was
attended by representatives of the
AmCham member companies, industrial
and commercial organizations in China,
and multinational purchasers.

The 131st China Import and Export
Commodities Fair (Canton Fair) was
held online from April 15 to 24. This is
the first time that the Canton Fair has
been fully held online in its 60-year-
development history. The 131st Canton
Fair had further improved the functions
of its online platform with richer search
dimensions and more convenient
supply and purchase connections. A
total of 25,000 Chinese high-quality
exhibitors and buyers met online to share
business opportunities. Meanwhile, the
131st Canton fairs also held an online
new product launch release event and an
online forum.

During the meeting, representatives from
the Canton Fair organizer committee
shared basic information about this
year’s Canton fair and briefed the
AmCham member companies on how
to be a VIP buyer through the AmCham
channel and its benefits.

As the largest import and export fair in
the world, Canton Fair contributes greatly
to the recovery of international cross-
border trade. AmCham South China,
as always, will work with government
officials and organizers to ensure that the
benefits of the 131st Canton Fair are fully
enjoyed by American companies in China
and the US.
