On the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone,
Shenzhen Municipal People’s Government hosted the 2020 Shenzhen Global Investment Promotion
Conference on December 8, which was attended by AmCham president Dr. Harley Seyedin.
China Hotel Christmas Lighting Ceremony
China Hotel held the 2020 Christmas Lighting Ceremony on December 9. One of the highlights of the
ceremony was the display of intangible cultural heritage, including embroidery and painted china, which
provided the guests with an experience of Lingnan culture (culture of Guangdong and the nearby provinces
in southeastern China).
