United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce California Regional Chapter organized the webinar China’s
Current Situation, reopening future trade relationships after the US Presidential Elections and the relationship
with Mexico and USMCA, on December 15. Dentons China attorney Valerie Wang, President of AmCham South
China Dr. Harley Seyedin, founding partner of CW CPA Thomas Wong, and Co-Leader of Arent Fox Malcolm S.
McNeil were cordially invited to deliver speeches and discuss the following topics with Board Member of the US/
Mexico Chamber of Commerce Mauricio Monroy.
• Official China forecasts of 2020 and 2021 GDP, imports, exports, FDI.
• US-China trade relations after the new US Presidential Elections.
• Major legislative changes in the US anticipated as a consequence of the COVID-19.
• What business opportunities will the USA and Mexico have with China during and after COVID.
• Relationship China/Mexico and USMCA, 4T and trade relations post COVID.

The Westin Guangzhou held the 2020 Christmas Lighting Ceremony on December 1, and started the Christmas
season with twinkling lights. AmCham president Dr. Harley Seyedin took part in the ceremony. Harley
Seyedin, together with General Manager of the Westin Guangzhou Arics Lam, and owner representative of the
Westin Guangzhou Jianping Zhou, started the ceremony by activating the Christmas light installation.
