AmCham’s Adelegation from the award-winning American
15th Chamber of Commerce in South China delegation,
Delegation led by the Chamber’s President Dr. Harley Seyedin, arrived
Returns in Xiamen on Sep 16 to attend the China International Fair
for More for Investment and Trade (CIFIT). The delegation continues
Success to be a large group in its fifteenth year, comprised of more
at CIFIT in than 50 senior leaders from multinational enterprises.
Xiamen
Dr. Seyedin introduced the delegation during a press
conference and briefed those in attendance on the
economic statistics and study results from the Chamber’s
2017 Special Report on the State of Business in South China.
He also emphasized the impact of foreign direct investment
on China’s development. The Special Report analyzes the
major concerns of many governments and stakeholders
including the future outlooks and profitability of companies
in China, the impact of government on investment
environment, and the challenges in different regions. The
delegation also met with government leaders of Hebei
Province, and attended the promotion banquet for Longyan
City in Fujian Province.
The next day convened with International Investment
Forum 2017, which introduced the New Development Bank
of BRICS. The delegation met with Fujian Province Vice
Governor Li Dejin and the Deputy Director General of the
Department of Commerce of Inner Mongolia Autonomous
Region Li Chunsheng. The day wrapped up with an
AmCham’s cocktail reception in the evening where our old
acquaintances and new friends mingled and networked.
