Eco-environment Huai’an combines climatic

Huai’an is a city with four distinct seasons, exquisite
scenery, well-developed water system and wonderful
ecology. Four rivers consisting of the Grand Canal, Ancient
Huaihe River, Yanhe River and Li Canal pass through the
city and five lakes including Hongze Lake, White Horse
Lake, Gaoyou Lake, Baoying Lake and Lixiahe Lake scatter
in the territory of Huai’an.
Policies The CPC Jiangsu Committee and Jiangsu
provincial government issued policy
documents to support Huai’an to build
an important central city in northern Jiangsu province.
Meanwhile, the ongoing state-level strategies, such as
the economic integration of Yangtze River Delta region
and the development of Jiangsu coastal areas, have cast
spillover effect on Huai’an. Huai’an municipal government
has taken measures to attract more foreign investment.
For industrial projects with total investment over USD10
million, construction fees will be free of charge; for projects
to be permitted, land supply is guaranteed by the local
government; for foreign-invested enterprise introducing
high-end talents and senior managers with total individual
income tax over RMB30,000, proportional subsidies will be
provided. Green channel are opened for children of foreign
investors in terms of schooling, accreditation, medical
treatment and driving license registration, etc.
