AmCham’s CHRMA HR
Directors Roundtable
On February 24, AmCham’s CHRMA
Committee initiated a topical workshop on
HR Management under the Two-Child Rule. As
China officially waved goodbye to its one-child-
policy and shifted to a “two child policy”, this
long awaited change brought on not only fresh
business opportunities, but also new challenges for
human resources management. The focal points
of this workshop included a policy interpretation
of this revision of population and family planning
regulations and its implication for human resources
management. The participants further discussed
possible solutions to optimize human resources
management for companies. This timely workshop
was well received by both HR directors and
managers alike.
