On September 30th, AmCham President Harley Seyedin was
invited to participate into Guangzhou International Forum &
Round-table Conference on Building an International Business
and Trade Center in Guangzhou. Mr. Seyedin acted as one of
the eight panelists in a panel discussion about the commercial
development in the era of information technology. The event was
attended by the Australian deputy consul general, a delegation of
Australian commercial experts as well as Chinese scholars.
Loudspeaker Sourcing Show
On October 10th, AmCham provided strong support for the
Loudspeaker Sourcing Show in Nansha Grand Hotel, Guangzhou.
Being an all inclusive solution for loudspeaker brand buyers,
engineers and their decision makers, this event was the first of
its kind. An opportunity for these attendees to meet directly with
qualified loudspeaker factories. This three-day event offered every
convenience all under one roof.
Discover Los Angeles
On October 12th, AmCham South China representatives were
invited to the Opening Ceremony of Guangzhou Office and the
“Discover Los Angeles” Reception organized by Los Angeles
Tourism and Convention Board at the Four Seasons Hotel
Guangzhou. This Guangzhou based Office is the third full-time
office of Los Angeles Tourism Bureau, following in the footsteps of
Beijing and Shanghai.
Spanish National Day
On October 15th, AmCham President Harley Seyedin was invited to
celebrate the Spanish National Day. As is tradition, the celebration
was hosted by the Consulate General of Spain in Guangzhou. The
celebration was attended by foreign diplomats and a wide range of
local community leaders.
