Welcoming Utah Trade Mission
On September 14, AmCham South China hosted a welcome lunch
and site visit in Shunde for the Zions Bank State of Utah Trade
Mission. The theme of the event was international trade and
Shunde cuisine. AmCham President Harley Seyedin was later
invited to attend a welcome reception for this mission that was
organized by the US Consulate General in Guangzhou.
Luxury Properties Showcase (LPS)
Grand Opening
On September 18, AmCham South China President Harley was
invited to attend the Luxury Properties Showcase (LPS) The
grand opening was held at Grand Hyatt Guangzhou. This exclusive
event features more than 110 exhibitors from 35 countries. Top
representatives from a number of demanding and prestigious
luxury real estate companies gathered at this function to meet and
greet their counterparts.
Meeting with United States-Mexico Chamber
of Commerce
On September 25, AmCham South China President Harley received
officials of the United States-Mexico Chamber of Commerce at the
chamber’s conference center. After sharing insights on the state of
global business environment, both sides expressed their intentions
to develop an in-depth future cooperation.
Sichuan Investment Promotion
On September 29, AmCham South China President Harley and
his chamber’s staffs were invited to the Sichuan Investment
Promotion Event. The event, which was also the Project Signing
Ceremony for the Pearl River Delta Region, was attended by
government officials and business people from Sichuan Province
as well as from the PRD region. As President Harley indicated
in his keynote speech, there is a rising interest among AmCham
members to increase levels of investment in Sichuan Province.
More investment opportunities are expected in the future.
