Issues Regarding Compliance Operation and
Dispute Resolution of Foreign-funded Enterprises
Aseminar on legal issues regarding compliance operation of Dr. Harley Seyedin, President of AmCham South China
foreign-funded enterprises was successfully held on July 20 Mr. Henry HOU, Partner at Global Law Office
in Westin Guangzhou Tianhe, jointly organized by the American
Chamber of Commerce in South China and Global Law Firm. Dr.
Harry Seyedin, President of the AmCham South China, delivered
an opening speech, expressing his sincere thanks and welcome
to all the guests who came to the seminar, and wished the event
a great success. Mr. Henry Hou, Partner at Global Law Office,
made the keynote speech on "Legal Risks Prevention and Dispute
Resolution for Foreign-funded Enterprises Contract Management",
analyzing cases and striving to provide useful references for
everyone. Ms. Shifang GUO gave a detailed online introduction to
the regulatory framework for foreign investment under the theme
of "Legal Issues On Compliance Supervision for the Establishment
and Operation of Foreign-funded Enterprises". She shared the
key points of compliance in the establishment and operation of
foreign funded enterprises. After tea break, Mr. Ken Wang, made
a speech with the theme of " How Foreign-funded Enterprises Can
Handle Criminal Cases Involving Trade Secrets in China". Mr. Dahai
Wei, and shared years of litigation experience around the theme
of " Practices and Implementation Techniques under Chinese
Laws for Punitive Damages of Intellectual Property". The seminar
attracted a large number of practitioners from foreign-funded
enterprises and export-oriented Chinese enterprises, and the
guests actively interacted with the speakers. Many guests raised
important practical questions on compliance management and
litigation response strategies for foreign enterprises. They also
highly recognized and appreciated the professional level of the
