Human Resources
Association Meeting

AmCham South China's China Human Resources Management
Association (AmCham's CHRMA) and AmCham's HR Committee
held a meeting on July 7th to plan the 2023 AmCham South China's
Best Practices Awards (AmCham BPA) to be held in December. The
meeting was held at the Mega Amway Experience Center.

Dr. Harley Seyedin the Honorary Chair of AmCham's CHRMA and Ms. Jenifer Xu, newly appointed Co-Chair of the HR Committee

president of AmCham South China kicked off the meeting by and the Executive President of AmCham's CHRMA

introducing Ms. Jenifer Xu, the newly appointed Co-Chair of the HR Committee and the Executive President

of AmCham's CHRMA. President Harley listed the countless accomplishments and massive qualifications of

Ms. Xu telling the attendees how fortunate AmCham South China is to have her volunteer services and her

leadership capabilities.

Members attending the planning session included Mr. Raymond Lo, HRD of Gabriel&Co, who is also the Vice
President of AmCham's CHRMA; Ms. Wendy Ji, Deputy General Manager of Guangdong NanYou Foreign Service
Co., Ltd, who is also the Secretary General of AmCham's CHRMA, Ms. Tracy Chen, Dow Chemical Guangzhou

branch; Ms. Fiona Fang, Meadjohnson; Ms.
Joe Zhuo, Newell Brands Technical Center
(Guangzhou) Co., Ltd, and Ms. Eunice
Liang, Edgewell. Ms. Wendy Ji provided
an overview of the previous sessions of
AmCham's BPA. Additionally, Mr. Raymond
Lo shared the latest updates regarding
AmCham's CHRMA.

AmCham's CHRMA members actively
engaged in discussions, sharing their
perspectives on the future growth of
AmCham's CHRMA and AmCham's BPA.
They also provided feedback on recent
challenges and collaboratively identified
potential solutions. Moreover, the
participants deliberated on strategies and
topics for implementing AmCham's BPA
and collectively planned HR-related events
for the year 2024.
