Commerce Bureau for the "Two Zones"
Theme Salons in Guangdong
In order to promote the policy advantages of the
"Two Zones" and attract enterprises and projects
to settle in Beijing, together with AmCham South
China, Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau, led by
Ms. Liu Meiying, Deputy Director of Beijing “two Zone”
Office, held three "Two Zones" Theme Salons in the
Pearl River Delta region in Guangzhou, Foshan and
Shenzhen during March 8- 10. Over 30 enterprises had
participated the events. During the meetings, Beijing
representatives promoted the policy advantages and
investment opportunities of the "Two Zones" in Beijing,
and built a bridge of communication and interaction
through discussions and exchanges with enterprises
and institutions to achieve win-win cooperation.
GuiZhou
Promotion Conference
On March 10, AmCham South China and the Guizhou
Provincial government held a Guizhou Promotion
Conference in Guangzhou. Chaired by the Guizhou vice
governor, Mr. Cai Chaolin, the meeting was attended
by the Guizhou bureau officers and over 10 AmCham
member enterprises. The purpose of the conference
was to promote investment opportunities and
economic development in Guizhou province. During the
conference, the Vice Governor of Guizhou Mr. Cai Chaolin
and other officers delivered speeches highlighting the
province's natural resources, industrial advantages,
and business-friendly environment. The attending
enterprises also had the opportunity to showcase their
products and services and discuss potential partnerships
with local businesses. Dr. Harley Seyedin expressed
his willingness for further cooperation and gave a
brief explanation of the 2023 Special Report on the
State of Business in South China. Overall, the Guizhou
Promotion Conference was a successful event that
provided a platform for networking and collaboration
between government officials and businesses.
