AmCham South China Government to Guangzhou office
Presents at the 88th
International Forum on China
China Institute for Reform and
Development (CIRD) held the 88th
International Forum on China Reform
under the theme of “China and the World
in Grasping Opportunities and Coping with
Challenges” in Hainan Island from October
29th-30th. As always, the Forum was
attended by the leaders of nearly every
think tank in China and leading experts
from around the world. Dr. Harley Seyedin
was invited to attend and speak at this
very high-level Forum online.
President Harley delivered the views
of the 2,300 members of the American
Chamber of Commerce in South China.
He also pointed out that China will rise
to challenges and build a bright future
through high-standard opening up. And as
the largest foreign chamber in the region,
the American Chamber of Commerce in
South China will work hand in hand with
governments and other organizations to
create a better future for foreign-invested
enterprises and help them seize new
investment opportunities and achieve
greater business success in China.
The Investment Promotion Consultants (Guangzhou)
Symposium was successfully hosted by the Sichuan
Government to Guangzhou office on November 1.
AmCham President Dr. Harley Seyedin was appointed as
investment advisor of the Sichuan Economic, and invited
to deliver a speech. As an investment advisor, President
Harley put forward constructive suggestion about creating
a high-quality business environment with international
competitiveness. He committed that AmCham South
China would spare no effort to support and assist Sichuan
Government to Guangzhou office in attracting investment
and building the new development paradigm. In his
closing speech, the director of Sichuan Government to
the Guangzhou office gave a full introduction of Sichuan’s
advantages in terms of geographical location, industrial
platforms, infrastructure, and government service. He
sincerely hoped that AmCham South China could help
promote Sichuan Province and introduce more premium
enterprises to invest there.
