Dingzhou Tower
With total area of
1283 km2 and a population
of 1.3million, Dingzhou city is directly governed
by Hebei Provincial Government and situated be-
tween Beijing and Shijiazhuang in central Hebei Province
as a key node city along the Beijing-Shijiazhuang Axis.
Planned to cover 100 km2, among which 40 km2 has finished
building, housing resident population of 500,000, the city is fea-
tured by warm temperate of continental monsoon climate, flat
terrain and an average altitude of 43.6 meters.

Cultural Heritage
As millennium city named by United Nations,
Dingzhou was built over 2,600 years ago and once the
capital of Zhongshan kingdom for 3 times during the
Warring States period and the Han Dynasty. After the
establishment of the People’s Republic of China, a
prefectural office was set up here, which keep the
city a regional economic, political, cultural and
military center as before.
