On December 4, AmCham President Harley Seyedin was invited 35
to celebrate the 88th Birthday Anniversary of His Majesty King
Bhumibol Adulyadej at Shangri-La Hotel, Guangzhou. Although
he is a constitutional monarch with no formal political role,
Bhumibol - King Rama IX - has generally been regarded as
Thailand’s unifying figure. During the event, attendees lighted
candles and offered their prayers for the health of His Majesty.
Oakwood Premier Guangzhou
Christmas Party
On December 9, AmCham President Harley Seyedin was invited
to join a Christmas party organized by Oakwood Premier
Guangzhou. At the party, along with a festive standing buffet,
good tidings, and the lighting of a Christmas tree, a bazaar and
silent auction were held. According to Oakwood, all funds raised
during the event shall go to the Guangzhou Huiling Mental
Disable Charity Institution.
Historic Heritage Preservation Conference
South China (Shunde)2015
On December 11 and 12, AmCham President Harley Seyedin and
President Dr. Louis Agnese of the University of the Incarnate
Word participated in the welcoming banquet of HHPCSC 2015
and a subsequent conference. During this event President
Harley and Dr. Agnese shared their personal experiences on
the preservation of historic heritage, from a commercial and
educational point of view.
Re-discovery of San Francisco and Launch
of Fulton 555 in China
On December 13, AmCham President Harley Seyedin attended
Re-discovery of San Francisco and the launch of Fulton 555 at
Ritz Carlton Hotel, Guangzhou. During the event, Harley not only
attended the media interview but also delivered a speech on the
economic prospects of the United States and the latest trends in
investment by Chinese enterprises in the United States.
