Meeting with Leaders of the CIFIT
Organizing Committee
On November 17, Mr. Qiu Guoyue, Deputy Director General of
Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Convention and Exhibition Affairs
and Chief Representative of the China International Fair for
Investment & Trade (CIFIT) and his team were well received
by AmCham President Harley Seyedin and his staff. During the
meeting the parties expressed satisfaction about the pleasant
spirit of cooperation during the past thirteen sessions of CIFIT.
All parties expressed a strong intent to build an even closer
collaboration for the 2016 CIFIT.
Beaujolais Nouveau 2015
On November 19, representatives of AmCham staff were invited
to participate in a Beaujolais Nouveau 2015 Event hosted by
French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China. This event
provided not only a unique opportunity for both the French and
Chinese communities to enjoy a nice glass of wine, but it also
created a suitable ambience for participants willing to expand
their activities and to meet one another.
Chinese Enterprises Outbound Investment
Conference 2015
On November 25, representatives of AmCham South China
attended the Chinese Enterprises Outbound Investment
Conference 2015 in Guangzhou. This year’s conference theme:
“New Vision for Cooperation on International Capacity”, was
comprised of a series of seminars on the strategic development
of ‘One Belt, One Road’. The event provided opportunities
for in-depth discussion on the prospects and challenges for
international capacity cooperation.
The 15th Anniversary of Oakwood Gold Arch
Residence
On November 27, AmCham representatives attended the 15th
anniversary of Oakwood Gold Arch Residence Guangzhou for
poolside evening cocktail party. An evening of elegance with live
jazz music and fascinating performances, including a water ballet,
rings of fire and an aerial acrobatic dance. After the awards
presentation, attendees could try their good fortune on the
lucky draw, which included stay vouchers for several Oakwood
properties in Asia.
