Meeting with CDC Investment
On July 24 AmCham President Harley and the chamber’s
professional staffs received officials with CDC Investment
Consultants at AmCham South China Conference Center.
Both sides shared their thoughts on South China’s investment
environment and enterprises’ mode of operation. The meeting is
believed to pave the path for future opportunities and strategic
cooperation.
AISG Orientation Day
From August 10 to 11 AmCham South China joined American
International School of Guangzhou (AISG) Orientation Day. As
always the chamber dedicated its strong support to the school’s
aims to create a warm, positive and respectful environment for
their students in which they can be nurtured to aspire and achieve.
China Yiwu International Commodities Fair
Guangzhou Presentation
On August 20 AmCham’s staffs were invited to attend China Yiwu
International Commodities Fair Guangzhou Presentation. The
fair, which is a highly internationalized and informative event,
is expected to attract businesspeople from well over a hundred
countries and regions.
U.S. Franchising Trade Mission Matchmaking
Meeting
On August 24 the U.S. Franchising Trade Mission Matchmaking
Meeting was supported by AmCham South China at Grand Hyatt
Guangzhou. This trade mission aimed to provide American
franchisors with a thorough understanding of the markets in China
and to build up and maintain long-term business relationships with
Chinese businesspeople. The event was received extraordinarily
well by the attendees.
