Mexico’s Silver: History and Future Opening
Ceremony
On June 5, the Opening Ceremony of Mexico’s Silver: History and
Future was held at the Guangdong Museum. AmCham South China
President Harley Seyedin and chamber’s staff were invited to the
unveiling ceremony of the historic exhibition, which showcased
Mexico’s local traditions and customs. The exhibition is believed
to be a great way to educate local citizens about this exotic place.
Greenland Roundtable Dialogue
On June 12, Greenland Enterprise Service Platform hosted a
roundtable dialogue at Mandarin Oriental, Guangzhou. The
dialogue, also served as strategic press release for Greenland as well
as the inaugural ceremony for the Entrepreneurs Club. The aims
are to encourage more businesspeople to get involved in sharing
unique insights about the industry and to exchange ideas about the
economic environment.
Agreement signed with Guangdong
Professional Association of Agricultural
Products
On June 17, The Guangdong Professional Association of
Agricultural Products signed a cooperation agreement with
AmCham South China to promote further communication and
cooperation between the members of both parties, especially with
regard to U.S industries.
Meeting with Nanhai Bureau of foreign and
Overseas Chinese Affairs Foshan City.
On June 17, officials with the Nanhai Bureau of Foreign Affairs and
Overseas Chinese Affairs Foshan City were received by AmCham
South China President Harley Seyedin and the chamber’s
professional staff at the conference center. After discussing future
cooperation opportunities, the officials were invited to attend the
Anti-Tax Avoidance Seminar AmCham co-hosted with KPMG.
