AmCham's CHRMA workshop was held on the
afternoon of September 13, 2023, at Dow's office
in Guangzhou's IFC Center and was attended by
over 50 business executives, HR executives, and
HRBP leaders from a variety of industries. The
event started with a warm speech by Dr. Harley
Seyedin, President of AmCham South China. Ms.
Jing Hao, Managing Director and Global Partner of
BCG, China Transformational Change Group Leader,
and Global Consumer Goods Industry Core Leader
set the agenda for the event by sharing with the
audience her speech entitled "EZI: Transformational
Leadership and Effective Leadership Team Building".
Her engaging presentation highlighted the importance
of transformational leadership and shared key
strategies on how to build effective leadership teams.
Her insights were profound and concrete, providing
inspiration and guidance to the participants.

After a short tea break, the event welcomed the
second round of keynote speeches, with Ms. Xuemei
Bai, Partner of Egon Zehnder, delivering a fascinating
speech titled "BCG: Strategic Transformation and
Organizational Transformation" to the audience. Her
presentation provided an in-depth analysis of the key
points of strategic and organizational transformation,
and she shared impressive case studies and practical
advice, providing valuable and practical information
to the participants.

After the two excellent keynote sessions, the
participants were divided into four groups and the
event started with a panel discussion to discuss the
business and leadership challenges in organizational
transformation and the strategies to address them.
At the end, the event was successfully concluded and
all participants felt that they had benefited from the
event. They brought back valuable insights and new
ways of thinking that will help them to better cope
with challenges in times of uncertainty.
