U.S. Independence Day Celebration
The U.S. Consulate General in Guangzhou invited esteemed figures in town
to a jubilee on June 28 to help celebrate the 241st anniversary of America’s
independence. Consul Generals in Guangzhou and leaders from all walks of
life attended a reception that featured the country’s renowned national parks.
Canada Day Reception 2017
The Canadian Consulate General in Guangzhou hosted a reception at the
Four Seasons Hotel Guangzhou on June 29 for the 150th anniversary of
the Federation of Canada. The celebration this year made its massive
appearance around the globe, proudly honoring the profoundness of the
country’s history.
China Business Travel Seminar
CITS American Express Global Business Travel (CITS GBT) launched the
2017 China Business Travel Seminar at White Swan Hotel Guangzhou on
July 4. The event showcased the latest development and the best practices in
the field of business travel management in China. The seminar also offered
the attendees a platform to discuss happenings and trends in the business.
Moulin Rouge
The romance and passion of Paris inspired by can-can dance and jazz wel-
comed guests at the Moulin Rouge Party held at Mandarin Oriental Guang-
zhou’s Ebony restaurant on July 8. The festivities featured a riveting fire
dance and music by a talented DJ. Each attendee also had a chance at the
lucky draw with prizes that included room vouchers and spa treatment
vouchers at the hotel, and fine dining vouchers at the newly renovated Ebony.
