The 1st China Innovation Conference
Organized by the State Council of China and CPC Guangdong Provincial Peo-
ple’s Government, the 1st China Innovation Conference took place at Shan-
gri-La Hotel Guangzhou, June 23rd-24th, aiming to build an innovative and
cutting-edge exchange platform in the global vision, to serve the development
of national innovation and to contribute to the development of global innova-
tion. AmCham South China had the pleasure to help take it to the next level
by contributing as a co-organizer of the event.
HJIC Privilege Club Opening Ceremony
In the afternoon of June 9th, HangJi International Financial Building
(HJIC) proudly held an Opening Ceremony of its Privilege Club in the
district of Shunde. The Privilege Club is exclusively established for a bet-
ter connection between HJIC and foreign organizations through various
beneficial activities.
Women-owned Business Market Access Opportunities - Meet
the Buyers
In the afternoon of June 7th at U.S. Consulate General in Guangzhou, Am-
Cham representative joined the event of “Women-owned Business Market
Access Opportunities - Meet the Buyers”. Attended by corporate leaders in
supplier diversity and inclusion, pioneering women business owners and
fore-runners in women’s advocacy, the event highlighted the importance
of supporting women entrepreneurs and raised awareness of the fact that
women business owners are key players in global economic development and
sustainability.
Meeting with Mr. Hanson Zheng and His Team
In the afternoon of May 31st, AmCham office received General Manager of
16 Area Wine, Mr. Hanson Zheng and his team. AmCham President Dr. Har-
ley Seyedin and his team had a productive meeting with them to discuss the
upcoming 1st China Innovation Conference. After the meeting, Dr. Harley
Seyedin was presented a Senior Consultant Certificate issued by the China
Innovation Conference Organizing Committee Office.
