G 35th Anniversary Gala June 2017
On the evening of May 8th at Garden Hotel, American International School
Guangzhou (AISG) hosted its 35th Anniversary Gala. AmCham representa- 25
tives joined in to share the joy and pride of AISG and its achievements. The
night was everything it had promised, honoring the past and inspiring the
future.
AISG Theater Opening Ceremony & High School Spring Concert
On the evening of May 23rd, AmCham representative was invited to
AISG Theater Opening Ceremony and High School Spring Concert at the
Science Park. The event was held in joint celebration of AISG’s 35th an-
niversary year to inspire a bright future for their students, a future where
they can access world-class performances and learning opportunities.
The 69th Israel Independence Day Reception
On the evening of May 19th, in celebration of 69 years of independence and
25 years of diplomatic relation between Israel and China, the Consulate Gen-
eral of Israel in Guangzhou held a reception at Grand Hyatt, which AmCham
representative had the pleasure to be a part of. On the occasion, the hosts
proposed a toast to a better future for both countries.
Meeting with Chairman of CCPIT Guangzhou Huangpu Dis-
trict Branch
On March 29, the AmCham office welcomed Mr. Huang Wenmin, the Chair-
man of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Guangzhou
Huangpu District Branch. AmCham President Dr. Harley Seyedin and his
team had a productive meeting with Mr. Huang. Dr. Harley also invited Mr.
Huang and his team to participate in the 2017 APCAC Business Summit for
more cooperative opportunities.
