Meeting with Mr. Sun Bin, Director General of Department of
Investment Promotion Bureau of GD Department of Commerce
In the afternoon of May 5th, AmCham office had the honor the welcome Mr.
Sun Bin, Director General of Department of Investment Promotion Bureau of
Guangdong Department of Commerce, and his team. The post-APCAC meet-
ing was well meant for both sides to deliver gratitude to each other for the
successful event, and to maintain strong ties for future cooperation.
Fascinating the 30s’ Shanghai Night by 16 Area
On the evening of May 16th, AmCham members were miraculously
brought back to the old Shanghai of the 1930s by 16 Area. That night
also celebrated the birthday of the founder of the company, Mr. Hanson
Zheng, wishing him great success in the years to come.
Poland National Day
On the evening of May 3rd, upon the cordial invitation from the Consulate
General of Poland in Guangzhou, AmCham representative gladly attended
the celebration of the Polish National Day, which was also in commemora-
tion of the Constitution Day of the country. With fine food and wine, all the
present guests enjoyed the night very much so.
Leader’s Forum - Financial & Professional Service & Business
Promotion of Nanhai District
On March 30, “Leader’s Forum”, hosted jointly by Nanhai People’s Govern-
ment of Foshan and Cushman & Wakefield, took place at Sheraton Guang-
zhou Hotel. AmCham members, AmCham President Dr. Harley Seyedin and
his team joined the forum. The activity was aimed at building and sharing
global resources to speed up the construction of Guangzhou-Foshan core
area and the new metropolis for global markets.
