On May 31, AmCham South China president Harley Seyedin
was interviewed by Easibition Magazine which represents
the exhibition industry in Guangzhou. During the interview,
President Seyedin expressed his strong confidence in the Chinese
economy. He showed great support with regards to the ongoing
developments in the exhibition industry in South China.
The 9th Latin Festival in Guangzhou
On June 4, AmCham staff was invited to join the 9th Latin
Festival organized by the Spanish Chamber of Commerce,
Division South. The event was held at the Canton Tower in
Guangzhou. Brimming with great music and fantastic food from
different Latin countries, this festival is the largest and most
important promotional event of Latin culture in South China. The
perfect family outing.
Media Cocktail Reception for The Canton
First Global Summer Camp
On June 6, AmCham South China President Harley Seyedin
and staff were invited to join the opening ceremony of The
Canton First 2016 Global Summer Camp organized by Canton
Club. Attendees of this event included representatives of foreign
consulates in Guangzhou as well as media friends. At the event
attendees were given a chance to experience the exotic culture
of various countries such as: Mexico, U.S., Turkey, Argentine,
Australia, and the U.K.
Meeting with Dongguan Mayor
On June 1, AmCham South China President Harley Seyedin
visited the new mayor of Dongguan, Mr. Liang Weidong and
his team at the Dongguan Municipal Government. Both sides
expressed a strong wish to deepen their economic cooperation
in the future. Mr. Liang was elected by the People’s Congress in
Dongguan in May 13, 2016.
