is located on the Yangpu Peninsula in the northwest of
Hainan, with an area of 31 square kilometers. In 2007,
the State Council approved the establishment of Yangpu
Bonded Port with an area of 9.2063 square kilometers.
In July 2012, upon the approval of the State Council, the
relative location of adjoining parcels of development
zones were adjusted. In October 2013, upon the approval
of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee and the Hainan
