First U.S. lawyer in China, Governor and IPR Committee Chair of the American Chamber of Commerce in South China, Dr. David C. Buxbaum came to China in 1972, representing U.S. businesses. He has since then witnessed the rapid development of China's reform and opening-up, especially that of Guangzhou, the city he has resided in ever since.
