2005 International Spring Ball Write-up

On May 28^th, the American Chamber of Commerce, Guangdong together with 9 other foreign Chambers and Trade Commissions hosted the Annual International Spring Ball at the China Hotel.  This years event was hugely successful with over 480 attendees from Guangzhou's foreign community including American Chamber President, Harley Seyedin and wife Hui Sun, Harvey and Lek Somers, Mike and Nancy Murphy, Keith and Julie Schneller and Randy Townsend from the U.S. Consulate as well as British Consul General, Chris Wood, Mr. and Mrs. Fabrizio Arpea, Italian Consul General, Mr. and Mrs. Kevin Magee, Australian Consul General, Jim and Marilyn Feir, Canadian Consul General, and Ingrid Van Dijk, wife of Dutch Consul General Ray Van Dijk acting Consul General Alm Mandenmaker and his wife Tess enjoying a fantastic dinner by the China Hotel and a tremendous production put together by Top Star Productions.  This year's band, “Unstoppable” hailed from Hong Kong and provided great dance music until 1:00 A.M.
