The AmCham IPR Committee Meeting is one of the regular events of the Chamber. As more and more people notice the significances of intellectual property rights for a company, Chamber’s IPR Committee meeting always attract many people to attend. This time we invited Mr. Mark Cohen, the Senior IPR Attache of the U.S. Embassy in Beijing, to discuss the IPR Protection in South China. Mr. Cohen was interested in discussing best practices, changing trends, and continuing challenges for companies. He also talked about the U.S. government’s IPR-related activities in China.
In addition to Mr. Mark Cohen, AmCham IPR Committee Chair Mr. David Buxbaum, Attorney of Anderson & Anderson LLP, assisted to host this meeting. The discussion was quite open and informal; it was a great benefit to anyone interested in IPR issues in China.
