During the week of June 11th, AmCham South China led an effort with the Asia Pacific Council of American Chambers of Commerce to present before the U.S. Congress and other decision makers in Washington D.C. the issues which are relevant and important to AmCham members in South China, and the entire Asia Pacific region.
Discussed were Non-Immigrant Visa policy, taxation of American citizens working overseas, IPR enforcement, and stimulating U.S. exports to China. A particular effort was made to reach relevant committee members and first-term congressmen to build lasting and meaningful relationships.
Thanks to APCAC for organizing the delegation!
