Shenzhen Ice-Breaking Night--AmCham South China New Member Introduction

With the hard-work of all AmCham stuff, new members of Shenzhen, Dongguan, Zhuhai and Zhongshan have increased steadily. In order to let our member from these regions have the opportunity to meet with each other, our Chamber organized the Shenzhen Ice-Breaking Night, welcoming our new blood to this great family on top floor 360^o Lounge Bar Restaurant of Shangri-la Hotel Shenzhen on July 13^th, 2007.

In addition to the more than 200 guests, including approximately 100 new members, gathered here, Chair of AmCham Membership Committee Mr. Michael Yu, General Manager of AIU Shenzhen, attended and welcomed all the new members to the ever-growing Chamber family!

Mr. Johnny Ding from Show Group newly joined AmCham, he generously sponsored this party—making a pair of lady’s evening dress shoes with Swarovski Crystal!

Among the honorable guests, some main media organizations of Shenzhen, such as Takungpao, Shenzhen Daily, Wen Wei Po and Shenzhen Holiday Magazine, came to experience and report this wonderful party. “It is really an amazing evening!” said Ms. Catherine Wang, Director of Shenzhen Holiday Magazine, “The party organized by AmCham is the precious chance for busy people to get tighter, communicating face to face, and at the same time, enjoying the beautiful night view of this city! Readers of Shenzhen Holiday Magazine are mainly the ‘White-Collars’ or ‘Gold-Collars’ and they must like such event. I hope we can have closer cooperation from now on, letting the public know more about AmCham events.”
