AmCham HR Committee Meeting with Mercer

Supplementary Pension Programs are relatively new concept but gaining popularity in China, because the aging population and the current state of the social pension system. As HR Managers are faced with ever-increasing attraction and retention issues, many are beginning to consider supplementary pension plans as a possible solution. However, given the relatively new concept of company sponsored pension plans in here, designing and implementing an effective supplementary retirement plan can be a challenge for HR Managers.

With the theme of “Design and Implement Effective and Innovative Benefit Programs in China”, the AmCham HR Committee Meeting with Mercer was held in Guangzhou (May 7^th) and Shenzhen (May 8^th). It is focused on the Supplementary Pension Programs and topics were discussed were as follows:
