16 2023 World Innovative 8 Global Investment Promotion
Nov Cities Forum Nov Conference For the Guangdong-
The 2023 World Innovative Cities Forum was Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area
held in Shenzhen on November 16. Under the
theme of "Achieving a sustainable urban future,
promoting digital and green transformation", the
event invited the world's leading innovative cities
and organizations to conduct case sharing and
policy discussions. Dr. Joe Chow (Zhou), Managing
Director of Kroll and Governor of AmCham South
China, participated in the conference and shared
his practices in low carbon development, digital
economy, talent cultivation,
standard setting. He also
discussed the path and
direction of greening and
digitizing the "double
transformation" of
global innovative cities
with representatives of
institutions and enterprises
from various countries.
859 cooperation projects were signed at the 2023 Global
Investment Conference for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-
Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) on November 8, with a total
investment of over 2.24 trillion RMB. The Conference has
attracted an abundance of Global 500 companies, including
Pfizer, Siemens Energy AG, Carlsberg Group, Amway,
PepsiCo, and Hyundai Motor Group, which are in advanced
manufacturing, biotechnology, new energy, and other
industries. The Conference was held online and offline in
Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Macao for the second time.
Top leaders from Guangdong Province, and Hong Kong
and Macao SARs participated in the Conference. Dr. Harley
Seyedin, president of AmCham South China was invited to
the events and interviewed by the press.

Dr. Harley Seyedin, President of AmCham South
China, was honored to join an exclusive lunch
with the Ambassador of the Republic of Moldova,
Mr. Dumitru Bragish, on November 27th. The
intimate gathering, attended by a select group of
business leaders and the Consul General, provided a
platform for fruitful discussions on shared interests
and potential collaborations. Against the backdrop
of a charming venue, the luncheon emphasized
the value of diplomatic and business partnerships,
strengthening the bonds between AmCham South
China and the Republic of Moldova.
