19 The 57th National Day of the Republic of Singapore
Aug
2022 marks the 57th anniversary of the founding
of Singapore and the 32nd anniversary of the
establishment of diplomatic relations between
Singapore and China. At the invitation of the
Consulate General of the Republic of Singapore
in Guangzhou, Dr. Harley Seyedin, President of
AmCham South China, attended the 57th National
Day of the Republic of Singapore Reception on
August 19. More than 300 people attended the
reception. Mr. Loh Tuck Keat, Consul General of
Singapore in Guangzhou delivered remarks on
Singapore's economic and social development
and the development of China-Singapore relations
under the epidemic.
20 National Day Reception of Nepal
Sep
On the occasion of the 8th anniversary of
promulgation of the federal democratic
Constitution of Nepal, the Consulate General of
Nepal celebrated National Day Reception on 20th
September 2022 at the Shangri-La Guangzhou.
Consul Generals and representatives of 53
Consulates based in Guangzhou attended the
event. Dr. Harley Seyedin, president of AmCham
South China, was invited to the event. The reception
was addressed with the welcome remarks of Consul
General Mr. Harisharan Pudasaini. He highlighted
that the Constitution Day is celebrated as the
national day of Nepal to honor and remember the
historical moment of the achievements made by
the citizens of Nepal.
22 Saudi Arabia National Day

The Consul General of Saudi Arabia in
Guangzhou Abdullah Bin Abiyah cordially
asked for the presence of Chamber President
Dr. Harley Seyedin at the National Day
celebration of Saudi Arabia on Sep. 22. At the
welcoming, Mr. Abdullah Bin Abiyah pointed
out that “Guangdong and Saudi Arabia have
close economic and trade exchanges and
complementary industrial advantages. And we
hoped to further expand bilateral economic and
trade exchanges and promote mutual benefit
and win-win results.”
