Lin, Vice Mayor of Putian City Opening ceremony of the 22nd China International Investment and Trade Fair
The second day of the event convened with
the opening ceremony of the 22nd China
International Investment and Trade Fair and
the 2022 International Investment Forum.
The theme of this year’s CIFIT was Global
Development: Sharing digital opportunities and
investing in a green future. AmCham South
China’s president Dr. Harley Seyedin attended
the opening ceremony. Then, Dr. Seyedin led the
AmCham South delegation to visit the Leading
China: Emerging Industry Exhibition after the
opening ceremony.
That evening, Dr. Harley Seyedin and
representatives of AmCham South China’s
members went to Gulangyu to participate in the
Gulangyu Forum. Ms. Guo Tingting, Assistant
Minister of the Ministry of Commerce, Mr.
Kang Tao, Vice Governor of Fujian Provincial
People's Government, and Mr. Huang Wenhui,
Deputy Secretary of the CPC Xiamen Municipal
Committee and Mayor of Xiamen Municipal
People's Government, attended the forum and
delivered speeches.
On the morning of Sept. 9, the AmCham
delegation attended the China-Shanghai
Cooperation Regional Economy Collaboration
Promotion and Breakfast Meeting. Mr.
Zhang Xinzhu, Secretary of the Party Working
Committee of the SCO Demonstration Zone,
Mr. Huang Peiqiang, Vice Chairman of Xiamen
CPPCC, and Mr. Zhang Dong, Deputy Director
of the SHFTZ Management Committee attended
the breakfast meeting and delivered speeches.
