Opening Ceremony of 2018 CIFIT

AmCham The award-winning American Chamber of
South China Commerce in South China (AmCham South China)
Delegation at delegation, led by the Chamber’s President Dr. Harley
its 16th CIFIT Seyedin, arrived in Xiamen on September 6 to attend
in Xiamen the China International Fair for Investment and Trade
(CIFIT). The group, with more than 100 delegates,
enjoyed its sixteenth year with over 50 senior leaders,
including executives from NU SKIN, P&G, Mars
Wrigley, and Citibank. Members of AmCham South
China have inked more than two billion US dollars on
average in each year at CIFIT.

At this three-day event, AmCham South China’s
CIFIT delegation co-hosted a China-US Investment
Forum on the Health and Food Industry in cooperation
with MOFCOM CIPA, met with government leaders
from provinces including Hebei, Hainan, Jiangxi, and
Ningxia, and explored business opportunities and
other opportunities for cooperation. The delegation
also visited major investment projects in Jinjiang City
in Fujian Province.■
