Consul General to thank AmCham South China for its invaluable contributions
Consulate General of the United advancing China’s openness to the world and helping American
States of America, Guangzhou, China companies understand the ever-evolving business environment
in China. While trade issues between the United States and China
continue to dominate the headlines, it is through the hard work of
organizations like AmCham South China that American and Chinese
business leaders continue to find ways to cooperate and gain greater
understanding of each other. Nowhere is this truer than in southern
China. Fostering and maintaining these relationships has been
among the most rewarding activities I have engaged in as a diplomat.
I sincerely hope that these business-to-business and sub-national
government relationships continue and increase.
It has been a true honor to serve as Consul General over the last three
years. My wife and I will very much miss the warm hospitality and
friendships we have developed during my tenure, and look forward to
seeing friends and colleagues in the future. Best wishes to all!
