Organization Aligned
with Strategy
Our Chinese Human Resource Management Association (CHRMA), for many years a strong
backbone of our Chamber, consists of high-profile directors in the human resource
industry and dedicated pro-bono services to improve the status quo of China’s personnel
management business. On April 3, AmCham South China welcomed Ms. Long Yutao from
Guangzhou Dedao Education & Consultant Group and members of our CHRMA to help us host
a seminar on Organization Aligned with Strategy. We spent the afternoon discussing how to
develop a proper organization supporting company strategies and fulfilling business needs while making HR function
go beyond day-to-day operations and boost business at the same time. Everyone involved left the room knowing more
about stepping in at the very beginning of strategy shaping and ensuring the alignment of the organization design
with a business strategy, a must to achieve high return on resources investment.■
