Walmart China 20th Anniversary Ceremony
The morning of October 27th was a happy occasion as AmCham President Dr.
Harley Seyedin and his team attended the Wal-Mart China 20th Anniversary
Ceremony at Walmart Supercenter Shenzhen Jingtian Branch. The festive
anniversary celebration commenced with a sensational opening, followed
by speeches and videos, expressing appreciation towards China for the giant
retailer’s success and development since its entry into the market.
The 30th Anniversary of China Programs at GDUFS
On the morning of October 29th, AmCham President Dr. Harley Seyedin and
his team attended the 30th Anniversary of China Programs at Guangdong
University of Foreign Studies. Joined by many keen alumni and distinguished
guests, the celebration started with an address by the university leader,
followed by remarks from government officials, the faculty and students and
culminated in a group photo to mark the momentous occasion.
Oktoberfest
Halloween and the Oktoberfest made for a fun and cheerful night of
double-billed celebration on the evening of October 30th as AmCham
President Dr. Harley Seyedin and his team joyfully joined the Halloween-
themed Oktoberfest at Guangzhou New Fa Center. The event marked the
12th German beer festival in Guangzhou with several guests attending in
Halloween costumes and reveling in the live music from a band and a line-up
of fun games.
Turkish National Day
Turkish National Day celebrations took place on the evening of October 31st
at Shangri-La Hotel, Guangzhou. AmCham President Dr. Harley Seyedin and
his team were warmly welcomed during the reception which was attended by
many high-level foreign and Chinese officials.
