The Guangzhou Youth Soccer League (GYSL) kicked off an
exciting new season at Utahloy International School Guangzhou
(UISG) on the morning of October 15th. Organized by AmCham South
China, the eight-week program was a call for participation to all soccer-
playing amateurs from 4 to 15 years of age as well as a summons to many
enthusiastic sports-loving volunteers to extend a helping hand. Friendly
matches between different teams of each age group showcased the
spirit of sportsmanship among the young athletes. The season concludes
with an awarding ceremony on December 3rd. AmCham South China
acknowledges the program sponsors for their terrific support: Utahloy
International School of Guangzhou (UISG), American International
School of Guangzhou (AISG), The British School of Guangzhou (BSG),
Nike, McCawley’s Bar & Grill, Skullcandy and United Family Hospital
Guangzhou.
