pany, the U.S. and Mainland China-headquartered companies occupy
first two places with around 30% respectively, followed by Hong Kong and
Macao SAR-headquartered companies and their European counterparts with
approximately 14% respectively.

Wholly foreign-owned companies are the most
common form of legal entity, making up
nearly half of all the respondents. Local Chinese com-
panies account for more than 30%, and joint ventures
comprise less than 14%.
