This would be his 1st official visit to the brand new AmCham Tower since the welcome dinner hosted by us in November 2011 at the time when he assumed duty as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the People's Republic of China.

 

Ambassador Locke is the first Chinese-American to serve as former Secretary of Commerce and now the incumbent Ambassador of the United States of America to China .
