I’m pleased to invite you to attend the roundtable with Ms. Carola McGiffert, Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of State for East Asia and the Pacific and Director of the 100,000 Strong Initiative at the Garden Hotel on Monday, December 12^th, 2011.

In 2009, President Barack Obama announced the “100,000 Strong” initiative, a national effort designed to increase the number and diversify the composition of American students studying in China, which was later launched in 2010 by Secretary of State Clinton.

This event is co-hosted by EducationUSA China.
