Celebrating the
Annual Guangzhou Youth Baseball League All-Star Game
Sunday, May 29th
On May 29th, the American Chamber of Commerce, Guangdong hosted its annual “Summer BBQ’ together with the Guangzhou Youth League Baseball All-Star Game at the Olympic Stadium. This years event was attended by over 300 families and children of all ages and was highlighted by some great baseball played by the kids and some not so good soft ball played by the adults. VIP attendees included AmCham President Harley Seyedin, wife Sun Hui and son Sterling, Harvey and Lek Somers from the U.S. Consulate as well as Coach Ma and the entire Guangzhou Leopards Professional Baseball Team, A very special thanks goes out to Edward Chan and Madison’s Steak House for supplying the best BBQ in town and Tom McCarthy and the Chinese Baseball League for their sponsorship as well as Youth League Baseball Commissioner, Kevin Edwards.
