Dear Members,
You are invited to join us at a KPMG breakfast briefing with highlights of the newly released Guo Shui Han(国税函) (2005) No. 239 on anti-tax avoidance work
The State Administration of Taxation (SAT) released Guo Shui Han (2005) No. 239 on 29 March 2005 (Notice) to state and local tax bureaus setting out the anti-tax avoidance work requirements for 2005. This Notice represents a significant move by SAT to enhance and standardise anti-tax avoidance regulations.
Companies engaging in related party transactions need to be prepared to substantiate their transfer pricing arrangements and policies and develop sustainable strategies to reduce transfer pricing risk in China.
During this briefing we will:
- Outline the key messages from the recent Notice
- Highlight transfer pricing audit risks and the potential impacts on your business
- Discuss strategies and techniques in handling the transfer pricing audit
- Explore how advance pricing arrangements can effectively address the risk of a transfer pricing audit
