“CIFIT represents the largest and best
platforms for investment and trade in the world. Our Chamber and members have
returned here for consecutive 16 years. We owe the success of our delegation
every year to the excellent organization and the high quality of arrangement
and service provided by the CIFIT Organizing Committee. I want to offer my
congratulations to MOFCOM, Xiamen and Fujian leaders, and the CIFIT Organizing
Committee for undertaking and delivering the high level of professional
excellence that keeps drawing us back to the beautiful city of Xiamen every
year,” Seyedin said.
The delegation held an open discussion on
the influence brought by the recent US-China trade frictions. Seyedin stressed
that AmCham South China supports Washington and Beijing’s ongoing efforts to
deal with the bilateral trade practices and policies through continuous
dialogues and negotiations. He called on U.S. companies operating in China to
play an active role in developing U.S.-China trade relationship.
